The new Tesco superstore in Corby takes shape ready for it's opening in January.

A new store is still trying to fill more than 50 vacancies.

Tesco, off St Mark’s Road in Corby, opens on January 24 and is looking for up to another 75 staff to join its team.

The application process is online and in a bid to help those who may not have access to a computer but would like to apply for a job, the new store has linked up with Corby Library. On Monday and Tuesday (January 7 and 8) managers from the store will be at the library to help jobseekers apply online using the library’s computers, and to answer any questions people might have about working for the store.

Night manager Richard Garvey said: “We still have a wide variety of jobs on offer and we can be flexible with the hours to meet people’s circumstances. Age is no barrier, what we are looking for is people who want to work and who have good personal and interactive skills, the rest we can teach in-store.”

The managers will be in Corby Library from 8.30am to 6pm both days.
