VOLUNTEERS have given a school’s breakfast and afternoon club room a makeover.

About 18 staff from Grant Thornton took part in the painting project at Croyland Primary School in Wellingborough on Friday.

Grant Thornton partner, Steve Robinson, said: “This was a great opportunity for our staff to participate in voluntary work within the local community. Special thanks goes to Travis Perkins which donated the material for the makeover. It was a great day with plenty of team spirit and we hope the children enjoy their fresh brightly-coloured environment.”

Travis Perkins branch manager, Matt Stone, added: “We felt it was a thoroughly deserving cause to get involved with, and jumped at the opportunity. It’s great to get involved in the local community.”
