The business organisation which supports businesses throughout the county has been shortlisted for a prestigious prize.
Northamptonshire Chamber has been shortlisted for the Chamber of the Year 2014 Award by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).
The BCC selects one chamber of the year from its UK-wide network of 53 chambers of commerce which has demonstrated excellence in a variety of key areas including membership, customer service, representation and international trade.
The winner of the title will be announced at the BCC Chamber Awards 2014 ceremony on Thursday, November 27, in London, where Northamptonshire Chamber is also finalist in two other categories – Excellence in International Trade Services and Excellence in Membership Services.
The chief executive of Northamptonshire Chamber, Paul Griffiths, said: “This is fantastic news for Northamptonshire Chamber. Already thrilled to be finalists in two of the award categories, we now have the excitement of being shortlisted for the Chamber of the Year title.
“Our team works incredibly hard and being shortlisted as Chamber of the Year – in addition to being finalists in two other award categories – is deserved recognition of all the hard work each and every member of the team has contributed over the last year.
“We are looking forward to the awards ceremony.”
