Staff at the Kettering office of an accountancy firm are celebrating after winning a prestigious award for the third time.
Haines Watts was named Accountancy Firm of the Year at the annual FDs Excellence Awards.
The awards recognise the service providers that support Britain’s finance community using the results of an annual survey, in which financial directors and financial decision makers are asked for their opinion.
Stephen Watts, associate partner of Haines Watts Chartered Accountants in Headlands, Kettering, said: “It’s wonderful to see Haines Watts win such a highly-admired award.
“This type of honour really matters to us because it’s voted for by business people and not by an academic panel of experts.”
The awards ceremony was held in Grosvenor Square, London, and hosted by Real Business in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and supported by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).
Stephen added: “We really are thrilled to be the first firm ever to have won an award for three years straight.
“We are also extremely proud of all of our team members who do an outstanding job for our clients - they have undoubtedly contributed towards us winning this award.”
