A new set of courses which provide fast-track business skills for entrepreneurs and managers has been launched in Northamptonshire.

Business training consultancy Beyond Theory has struck a deal with Northampton’s Holiday Inn Express to deliver key learning for business owners and executives as part of a series of six courses called Learning Express Cafés.

The half-day sessions – which cover management techniques, tools and strategic thinking – start on Friday, 25 January, at the hotel, based in the town’s Loake Close in Grange Park.

Senior consultant Paul Beesley, who runs Beyond Theory, said: “Learning Express Café events are new, innovative and specifically designed to fit in with business owners’ busy work schedules.

“The fast-paced format will enable people to get the essential tools and techniques they need with the option for more in-depth training later.

“The courses provide fast learning for busy people.”

The café events each cost £65 plus VAT and include:

– Strategic thinking tools for business

– Creative thinking for business

– Project management tools for business

– Change management techniques

– Performance management

– Engaging employees for business success

People who attend all six Express Café events will receive the sixth event free.

They will be held on consecutive Fridays running into April, with the rolling programme starting again in June.

Each Express Café runs from 9.30am to midday with tea and coffee available from 9am.
