A Corby firm is celebrating its 15th anniversary in business.

Ultima Displays, which makes portable display products and graphics, celebrated with a special lunch for all its employees.

From humble beginnings in 1999, managing director Andrew Burdett has seen the business go from strength to strength.

Offering a one-stop shop including good quality hardware, professional printing and a bespoke design service, Ultima Displays serve more than 4,000 customers in the UK. Supplying the trade only, the company employs more than 160 members of staff and boasts a large manufacturing operation in the UK with more than £3m worth of stock in their warehouse.

With a strong presence throughout the world, Ultima Displays has always guaranteed a trade only service, which it thinks has helped contribute to its success.

Mr Burdett said: “We’re really excited to be celebrating our 15 year anniversary this year.

“We started the company with a handful of people and have grown to what we are today, a multi-million pound company serving thousands of customers worldwide.

“Time has passed so quickly and I, for one, did not expect us to grow to what we are today. It’s great to have so many people still with us from our very first days in Kettering.

“2014 and 2015 are set to be huge for Ultima Displays with continuous product development and major investments in various areas of the business.

“We are set to increase our modular capabilities with a brand new install and development service, and the introduction of a sleek pre-build suite at our headquarters will offer clients the chance to view finished stands before dispatch.”
