A company which is opening one new UK store a week is to hold two management recruitment days in Corby.
B&M, which opened its branch in Lloyds Road in June, is holding the event on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8.
It has plans to open more stores in the East Midlands in the coming months and is keen to recruit potential managers.
East Midlands area manager Dan Callery said: “This really is an exciting time to be joining B&M. I’ve been with the company 18 months and the expansion has been exciting.
“We are looking for managers to come on board and embrace this opportunity to be involved with the UK’s fastest growing retailer.”
Members of the company’s management team will be at the Corby store, which sells a huge range of home and garden products, to outline B&M’s plans for the future.
The company was launched in 1978 with a store in Blackpool and it now has 350 branches employing more than 15,000 staff and attracting three million customers a week.
By the end of 2013 it will have opened 50 new stores during the year, as well as a distribution centre.
With plans to more than double in size in the next three years to around 600 branches, the company says there will be plenty employment opportunities.
