A small coffee chain is planning to open its third store.

Bewiched is hoping to open its latest shop in Corby in the summer.

Managing director Matt Fountain said: “We have managed to secure a very good location in Corby town centre and after the eight fantastic months we have had in Kettering, trading next door to Costa, on top of our three years in Wellingborough, I think it is time to take the brand to Corby.

“Prior to opening next door to Costa in Kettering, many people told us we were mad, but I think we have shown what can be done.

“There is no secret to our success there, it is just down to a relentless pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee, we have now got our own ‘Bewiched Coffee Blend’ and the vast majority of the feedback I get is that it is smoother and sweeter than our main rivals.”

Mr Fountain has plans to expand the chain even further and is looking at the possibility of opening a fourth Bewiched in Northampton.

Operations manager Richard Wagg will be running the Corby site. He said: “We will not settle until we are the number one coffee brand in Northamptonshire. Corby is the next phase in that strategy.

“Ultimately we are not here to offer an alternative to the big brands, we are here to offer something better.”

The Corby Bewiched will be in Willow Place.
