Business people are being invited to a free briefing about the economic benefits of two major developments planned in Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire.
Organised by the Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassadors, the breakfast briefing will start at 7.30am on June 7 at the Old Grammarians, in Sywell Road, Wellingborough.
The potential economic impact of the proposed Rushden Lakes and Appleby Lodge planning applications will be explored. LXB Properties, the company behind the Rushden Lakes retail and leisure development, will provide a presentation and update on the proposal.
Prologis, the developer promoting the site at Appleby Lodge, will discuss the plan to create a large business park. Wellingborough and Rushden MP Peter Bone will also be speaking.
Chamber president Alan Piggot said: “We want to make local business people aware of the financial and job creation impacts these developments could have on our economy.”
The event has been sponsored by commercial property specialists Prop-Search.
