Burglar disturbed in Corby

A man was disturbed while breaking in to a property in Epson Road, Corby.

Between 1.20am and 1.30am this morning (Thursday, 18 February), the man used a wheelie bin to climb onto the balcony of a first-floor flat, and while attempting to climb in through the window which had been forced open, was disturbed by the homeowner.

The man jumped off the balcony onto the grass below, where a second man was waiting. The men rode away on bikes in different directions.

One of the men was described as white, more than 6ft, with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded top and a black scarf over his face. He was riding a blue mountain bike.

The second man was also white and was wearing a grey hooded top. He was riding a silver mountain bike.
