Burger King is to trial home deliveries for the next three months in one of its Northampton outlets.
Deliveries will be made within a two-mile radius of the the restaurant in Market Square. A minimum order of £14 is necessary.
Customers can place orders for food over the internet or telephone, between midday and 3pm and between 6pm and 10pm.
The fast-food chain is also trialling the service in Hornchurch, Gants Hill, Romford, Hayes, Truro, Skegness and Hull.
Should the delivery service be successful over the next few months, it is expected to be expanded nationwide.
Marketing director of Burger King Matthew Bresnahan said: “We are extremely excited about this home delivery service.”
