Buggyfit, a fitness craze recently featured on ITV’s This Morning which helps new mums get back into shape, has been launched in Corby.

The power-walking class, with strengthening and toning exercises is proving to be the answer to shifting post natal weight.

Buggyfit instructor, Kate Gill-Carter, said: “It’s the perfect way to socialise while regaining fitness with baby coming along too. Baby gets fresh air and mum feels great again with the added bonus of no child care costs. As a mum of two, I don’t find time to go to the gym or classes in the evening so combining a buggy walk and exercises worked well for me.

“Exercise is proven to help reduce post natal depression and gets you out of the house too, so we would welcome anyone who wants to come along and give it a try.”

Sessions cost £5 and are held every Thursday, from 10am until 11am, at East Carlton Country Park.
