Two brothers from Corby have won major Highland dancing competitions.

Ross Armour, 21, came seventh overall and fourth in the Highland fling at the World Adults Championships which were held in Dunoon, at the weekend.

He battled against 99 adult competitors from all over the world to get through to the final 20.

In Edinburgh last month he won the British Overseas Championship and his brother Lewis, 15, won the Scottish Boys Championship on the same day.

Ross, of Denne Close, said: “Just getting through to the final was amazing.”
