More than 40 people turned out to help Claude King-Underwood celebrate his 105th birthday.
Mr King-Underwood, a resident at Darsdale Care Home in Raunds, was born on January 17, 1909.
He lived in Rushden until he was 97, when he moved into the home.
He is the eldest of eight children and worked as a clicker in a local shoe factory.
He enjoys singing and he and his remaining two brothers, Bob, 91, and Don, 81, had a singalong at his birthday party.
Care home manager Sarah Paradise said: “Claude is a friendly, popular resident who loves music.”
