A main route into a village in the north of the county has re-opened, three months after it was closed because of a crash.
The Willow Brook bridge was closed in February after a crash caused damage to a bridge parapet.
But it has now re-opened to traffic.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said: “Work to repair the damaged bridge just outside of Fotheringhay has now been completed and the road re-opened to traffic.
“The road had been closed for safety reasons after the bridge was badly damaged by a car.”
