More than 70 past and present members have got together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kettering Bridge Club.
The anniversary party was held at the club’s building on the corner of Grange Road and Field Street last weekend.
The building is owned by members and was extended a few years ago. The club has had a number of locations in its lifetime, including the Manor House and the former Telegraph building in Dryland Street.
Members partied for more than seven hours in celebration, enjoying a pairs event in the afternoon, a buffet meal, and a teams event in the evening. The winners were presented with specially engraved miniature clocks.
The club holds up to 12 sessions of bridge a week for players of all abilities. For details, visit www.ketteringbridge.org.uk
