A dog trainer and groomer has followed her dream and launched her own business in her own premises.

Olwen Turns has just opened the Cloverleaf Canine Centre, in Maylan Road, Corby, where she offers grooming, day care and training.

Mrs Turns set up Cloverleaf last year after losing her job, and now has her own dedicated premises which she hopes to expand.

She said: “It is really exciting and scary all at the same time. I have got to think of everything.

“I have got a one-year lease at the moment and quite a few ideas and ambitions for the next few years.”

Mrs Turns has been supported by the Corby-based Enterprise Coaching project, which helps new businesses get off the ground.

She said: “Enterprise Coaching have been absolutely brilliant. It is always sitting in the back of your head – ‘can I do this?’ – and they say ‘of course you can do it.’ It is a real morale booster.”
