A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Wellingborough.

The incident took place in Doddington Road at about 3.15pm on Monday, September 24.

The boy was taken by ambulance to Kettering General Hospital for treatment.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “A car and a pedestrian – a 12-year-old boy – were involved in a collision.

“It was reported to police at about 3.15pm and an ambulance attended the scene.”
