Boy, 17, in hospital after being hit by car

A 17-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car.

The crash happened on Saturday (June 2) at around 9.40pm at the Sixfields roundabout of the A45 in Northampton.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “A silver Nissan Primera was towing a green Rover Mini, from the direction of the Weedon Road, when for reasons yet unkown, the Primera was in collision with a 17-year-old pedestrian, as it joined Upton Valley Way North.

“The 17-year-old boy was taken to Northampton General Hopital with serious injuries but is said to be in a stable condition.”
