Boughton House, near Kettering, wowed X Factor contestants when it hosted the popular show.
The venue hosted the return of former judge Cheryl Cole on Saturday, September 29, who made her comeback as a guest mentor almost two years after her departure.
She helped Gary Barlow judge the over-28s category. After auditions were carried out in the grounds of the stately home they selected Kye Sones, Melanie Masson and Carolynne Poole to go through to the live shows.
Filming took place at the stately home over the weekend of September 8 and 9.
Maurice Whitaker, head of creative and commercial at Boughton House, said: “We are always delighted to introduce Boughton to new audiences and feel that the estate’s 1,000-acre setting provided the perfect backdrop and privacy for the X Factor team.
“With its unique location in the heart of the UK, Boughton prides itself as a place that supports all creative arts, and we wish all the participants the very best of luck as the competition moves forward.”
The hopefuls were more than impressed by the Northamptonshire venue. They were shown around the building upon their arrival.
Christopher Maloney, from Liverpool, said: “I have never been anywhere like this before.”
Earlier this year, Boughton House was also selected as the location for the upcoming Les Miserables movie.
The Grade I listed home was turned into a film set with a huge crew of more than 150 members, shooting scenes for the film.
The film stars a host of Hollywood film stars, including Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and British comedian and actor Sacha Baron Cohen, star of Borat.
