Body found in disused building

Police have confirmed that the death of a 38-year-old man whose body was found in a disused building in Northampton town centre is not being treated as suspicious.

Officers sealed off Great Russell Street in The Mounts after a body was found on Saturday, June 22, in a disused commercial building.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “Police are able to confirm that the body of a 38-year-old male was discovered in a disused warehouse.

“An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of the death, but police are able to confirm that the death is not being treated as suspicious and the family have been informed.”
