Husband and wife team Allan and Rhonda Fosbrook are ready to open the doors of The Blitz 1940s Tea Room in Kettering.

The new venue, between the library and the museum, features authentic furniture and ornaments from the 1940s – the décor even features half the roof blown away – with a range of themed food and teas on offer.

On Friday and Saturday evenings it will become a jazz lounge.

Allan said: “We are looking to create a unique experience in Kettering.”

The Blitz opens on Monday, September 9.
