The owner of a Northampton-based sandwich delivery firm is hoping for a successful 2013 after launching at the end of last year.
The Bread And Butter Factory specialises in lunchtime food made from products grown, developed or sourced in the county.
Owner Blauna McDonough said: “Things are going well and we’ve had some great feedback so far. I started the business around September and the first three months were about getting things up and running properly.
“Our main emphasis is specialising in food made or grown in Northamptonshire, it’s something which is important to me and having spoken to our customers something which is important to them as well. I have worked in this industry for a number of years and wanted to set up my own business.
“I know there are firms which deliver sandwiches to people, but I think The Bread And Butter Factory offers something a bit different. People have said they want peace of mind about where the food and ingredients has come from and we offer this.”
All orders are made through the company’s website which has a range of traditional sandwiches and rolls as well as salads, soups and snacks. The former can also be customised with different types of bread, spreads and condiments.
The Bread And Butter Factory offers same day delivery Monday to Friday if orders are made before 11am. Orders can also be made for forthcoming days. Delivery is free to designated areas in Northampton.
