A MUSIC festival is pledging to show off a wider range of performances than ever before when it returns later this year.
The 2012 Gretton Music Festival is looking to build on the success of last year’s event, when many concerts sold out throughout the village.
A number of performers are back by popular demand, including Gretton supergroup Unplugged & Thirsty and Elle Roberts.
New artists for this year include Lazy Alligator Jazz Band and Barb Jungr, whose March show was a sell out at the Core in Corby.
Gretton Silver Band are also on the bill, and baritone Mark Llewelyn Evans is staging a Best of British concert.
The event takes place from Friday, August 24, to Monday, August 27. For more information visit www.grettonmusicfestival.com.
The festival will feature performances at the three village pubs, the Sports and Social Club, both churches, the village hall, green and Lydia’s Coffee Shop.
