An independent coffee chain with branches in Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough says it is aiming to open another branch in the Rushden Lakes development – if the scheme is given planning approval next month.

Bewiched – which last week announced it was opening another branch in Peterborough – said it had signed up to take on a unit at Rushden Lakes.

Director Matt Fountain said the firm was also revamping its Kettering branch, in High Street.

He added: “The shop will be more rustic-looking with panelling and pastel colours. We are expanding our counter to incorporate a new area for our milkshake preparation.”
