People turned out to see beacons lit to mark the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.

As many people watched the finale of the musical extravaganza at Buckingham Palace last night, the sky was lit up by beacons across the country, including in Desborough, Wellingborough and Corby.

A Jubilee beacon was lit up at The Grange sports field in Earls Barton by Earls Barton cricketer Ray Waite, who is in his 50th season at the club and played for England over 60s last year.
