Barton Seagrave going to the polls today

Residents in Barton Seagrave will go to the polls today (Thursday) to elect a new Kettering councillor.

Independent councillor Steve Bellamy resigned earlier this year, saying the role was like swimming through treacle.

Standing to replace him are Robert Clements (UKIP), Andrew Dutton (Lib Dem), Dianne Miles-Zanger (Con) and Rob Reeves (Green).

Voting is open until 10pm tonight.

Whoever is elected will work alongside current council leader Russell Roberts, who also represents Barton ward.
