A large barn at a farm in Braybrooke was badly damaged by a fire last night (Saturday, June 8).

Fire crews from Desborough, Rothwell and Market Harborough, as well as a water carrier from Kettering, were called to the scene in Harborough Road near the village at about 11.30pm.

They spent a number of hours battling the fire and damping down at the scene.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Fire Service said the barn measured 50 metres by 20 metres and the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
