Staff from local branches of Barclays Bank have cycled a total of 120 miles as part of a huge regional effort to raise money for special care baby units.

Staff in the Premier Banking teams took part in the event this month. Two sets of seven riders cycled 120 miles over two routes, one of which was Kettering to Milton Keynes, via three hospitals.

Barry King from Barclays said: “We want to thank everyone who supported us and when we have completed collecting in our sponsors we hope to have raised about £2,000 for each of the special care baby units in Kettering, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton and Dunstable, Lister, and Bedford Hospitals.”
