Shoppers in Corby are supporting the British Heart Foundation’s annual stock appeal.

Staff and volunteers from the charity’s shop in Corporation Street handed out bags on Thursday, September 26, and invited residents to fill them up with unwanted clothing, books, household goods, toys, CDs, and DVDs.

Assistant manager at the shop Natalie Murray said: “We didn’t do a town centre promotion last year but the year before we managed to collect more than 400 bags of unwanted goods.

“We’re hoping to do as well this time. Shoppers have been showing a lot of interest

“We want everyone to have a big clear-out and support the charity.”

The Bag-athon appeal will continue until Saturday, September 28.
