A Corby church is going back to Elizabethan times to raise funds.
Rutland Renaissance Dancers will be presenting a 16th century event on Sunday, November 3, at St John the Baptist Church hall in the Old Village.
As well as a lunch, there will be Elizabethan dancing, costumes and sword fighting.
The event takes places between 1pm and 3.30pm and tickets are £12.
Rutland Renaissance Dancers was formed in 1988 and the group’s aim is to entertain and inform audiences about the dances and also the clothing of the 15th, 16th, and early 17th centuries.
It has given performances in village halls and churches, as well as Peterborough Cathedral and Burghley House in Stamford.
Proceeds will go to the church’s seating fund.
Tickets are available until October 27 and can be booked by calling Heather Lovett on 07944 419637.
