A popular park has made it a hat-trick of years of being named one of the best green spaces in the county.
Rockingham Road Pleasure Park in Kettering has received a prestigious Green Flag Award for the third year running after Judges were impressed at how well managed and maintained it was.
Terry Young, secretary of the Friends of Rockingham Road Pleasure Park group, said: “The group and local council have all worked hard to achieve this hat trick of awards.
“We are all extremely pleased and proud.”
The Pleasure Park is one of a 1424 parks and green spaces across the country that received a Green Flag Award this year, and amongst 75 winners in the East Midlands.
Judges also note the overall quality of the park and its facilities when giving out the awards.

Valerie Hitchman, head of community services at the council, said: “I am really pleased that the park has received the award for another year.
“The community are really involved in working with us in this important green space in the Borough - many thanks to everyone.”
Corby’s Hazel and Thoroughsale Woods also scooped a Green Flag Award this year.
