A cyclist was pulled from his bike during an attempted robbery in Danesholme, Corby.

The victim was cycling along a footpath between Great Folds Road and Bamburg Close when three men stepped out in front of him.

One of the men pulled the victim from his bike and demanded he hand over his bike and phone.

The victim was able to defend himself and ran away towards Bamburg Close.

No property was stolen in the incident, which took place on Friday between 5.30pm and 5.45pm.

The offenders are all described as white, about 5ft 10in, with an average build and spoke with Eastern European accents. One of the men was wearing a hat.
