A person tried to assault a teenage cyclist in Wellingborough.

The incident happened near the Gold Street Fish Bar which the victim was cycling past at about 9.45pm on Monday, March 21, when a car pulled up.

Somebody got out of the vehicle and tried to assault him.

The victim was not hurt.

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 and ask for Operation Worcester.
