Ashbury Chocolates of Corby saves £30,000 after launching a war on waste

A Corby firm has made savings of £30,000 a year by waging a war on waste.

Confectionery manufacturer Ashbury Chocolates, which makes five million sweets a day during peak periods, has cut bills by making it simple for staff to reduce, reuse and recycle rubbish, now sending nothing to landfill.

The firm signed up for the Northants Investors in the Environment scheme which helps businesses reduce costs by reducing environmental waste.
