An artist will make a donation from every sale of her work on show at an exhibition starting on Friday.
Leora Pacheco is having an exhibition of her work at The Castle in Wellingborough, starting on Friday, August 28, and running until the end of September.
It includes a painting entitled Pitsford, which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to the Wellingborough-based charity Crazy Hats.
The Castle has also waived its commission so all the funds bid for the painting will go to the charity which raises money to improve breast cancer care at both Kettering and Northampton general hospitals.
The highest bidder will be contacted at the end of September to receive the painting.
Leora has a studio in Wilby and takes her inspiration from the surrounding countryside and her friends to create contemporary works.
After seeing Crazy Hats make a difference to how breast cancer patients are treated in the county, including friends who have benefited from their support, sales of her artwork will now go towards helping the charity.
She will donate some money from each piece of artwork sold during the exhibition.
The paintings are all originals.
People can visit the exhibition from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and until 8pm when there is a show on.
