ORGANISATIONS which can help young people get into training or employment are being urged to apply for a community grant.
The Northamptonshire 100 fund, which is made up of donations from businesses and individuals, hands out grants to community organisations.
This year’s theme is Young People and Employment.
Grants of up to £1,000 are on offer to organisations that support young people towards employability, provide training and activities to improve skills or create work placement and volunteering opportunities.
Eligible groups must be small, locally managed, voluntary, community or self-help groups.
Anyone wanting to apply should do so online through the Northamptonshire Community Foundation at http://applications.communityfoundations.org.uk/Entry.aspx?DeliveryAgentID=207&FundName=Northamptonshire100Fund&FormName=Large.
