A garden has a new look thanks to the efforts of students from Moulton College and builders merchants Travis Perkins.

The Club 55 garden at Velbert House in Corby was given the makeover thanks to the Northampton company’s donation of
materials worth £1,000 and the students’ hard work.

Travis Perkins marketing manager Lucy Miller said: “Velbert House provides retirement and sheltered accommodation for adults, so this was an incredibly worthy cause that we are proud to support.

“Some of the residents use wheelchairs so the garden needed to be accessible as well as being a relaxing space – the
apprentices had their work cut out but the final result is fantastic.”
