Anti-social behaviour update

POLICE have given an update on anti-social behaviour incidents in Oundle.

Northamptonshire Police’s East Northants North safer community team has been trying to tackle anti-social behaviour in Oundle as a priority.

Sergeant Phil Holton from the team said on the night of February 12 at about midnight a number of cars parked in West Street, Oundle, had their wing mirrors kicked off.

He said: “Information provided to us gave the name of an individual from Oundle, but with no witnesses and their denial of responsibility we were disappointingly unable to progress these crimes any further.”

Sgt Holton said that in the early hours of February 25 a number of properties in the centre of Oundle had their windows smashed.

Officers attended and arrested two local individuals for criminal damage.

Both have been bailed pending further inquiries.
