People are being urged to take inspiration from the success of Ashleigh Butler and enter a county talent competition being held this summer.

Applications are now open to Has Northamptonshire Got Talent?, which offers contestants the chance to win £500 of shopping vouchers to spend in the Grosvenor Centre in Northampton.

Entry is open to singers, dancers, acrobats or any other form of entertainers who believe they may have what it takes to impress the judges during live auditions.

Event organiser Mandie Smith said “Over the past three years we have seen some amazing talent.

“Some of the finalists have gone on to bigger and better things and without doubt have potential for very successful career’s in the future.

“We know this county has a huge amount of talent, just look at [Britain’s Got Talent winners]Ashleigh & Pudsey.

“With applications now open for this year’s show, I would urge people to get their entries in to be in with a chance of becoming Northamptonshire’s next big star”

The closing date for entries is Friday July 27. For more information or to download a booking form, visit www.
