Dozens of awards were shared among members of Kettering and District Photographic Society at the group’s annual presentation event in December.
The group was joined by Kettering mayor Keli Watts at the event, which took place at the Feast World Buffet Restaurant in Montagu Street, Kettering, and was attended by about 50 members and guests.
The mayor was invited along to hand out the 33 awards won by members during the past year.
These included awards for the best monochrome and colour photographs, as well as awards aimed at the society’s best novice and advanced photographers.
The society also paid tribute to the restaurant’s hospitality during the annual event.
The group usually meets on Monday evenings, excluding bank holidays, at 8pm at a clubroom at the Masque Theatre Complex in Barton Seagrave, although in the summer months the group has ‘field meetings’ which are both social excursions and opportunities for outdoor photo shoots.
