The organisers of this year’s Wellingborough Gang Show say it will be bigger and better than ever and are asking people to go along and support the young performers.
The show is in its 29th year and this year there will be more than 100 Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Network and a few leaders together with some Guides taking part.
Peter Morrall said: “Now we are looking for a large audience to complete the occasion and if you have never been to a gang show, make this year your first.
“Gang shows started in 1932 when a West End producer was asked to put on a show to provide some money for a swimming pool for a camp site. Now gang shows have spread all over the world.”
This year’s show is at The Castle theatre from Monday, March 31, to Saturday, April 5.
The show starts at 7.15pm and will finish at 9.30pm.
Tickets cost from £7.50 and are available from the box office on 01933 270007.
