A DEDICATED runner is set to take on the London Marathon to raise funds for Lakelands Hospice.
Tony Hemmings, who works for Corby town centre management company Ashdown Phillips, will take on the challenge on April 22.
Mr Hemmings said: “We lost my wife’s mum to cancer and know how important it is for families to have somewhere to go for support, a chat and understanding.”
Community fundraiser Nikki Hill said: “These places are so hard to get so it was important for us to get the right man for the job.“
