Wood you believe it?
Children at Polebrook Primary School have headed for the great outdoors for some lessons which take place in the forest near the school.
The safely prepared woodland area provides something different to the children’s learning, offering them experience which helps develop social skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Headteacher Hazel Johnson said: “The children love their forest school work and can’t wait for Wednesday to come around again. I am thrilled that this initiative has added yet another dimension to our rich and varied curriculum.”
