A man has been airlifted to hospital after collapsing at an industrial estate in Wellingborough this morning.
The man, 55, was complaining of chest pains.
Paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service were first on the scene and reported that the patient had gone into cardiac arrest.
The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was called and landed in a car park on the industrial estate.
The patient had already been given the necessary medication by the EMAS Emergency Care Practitioner, but the patient still required a swift transfer to the nearest major trauma centre.
He was immobilised before being flown to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire for further treatment.
His condition throughout the flight was stable.
The crew arrived at the hospital at about 11.12am, just 28 minutes after landing at the industrial estate.
