A taste of the Mediterranean will be coming to Corby this year as the owners of The Old Bakehouse and Olive Lounge in Rothwell launch their new restaurant, Olive, later in the year.

Passionate about the quality of freshly cooked Mediterranean dishes, the popular restaurant and bar will combine its A la Carte and Meze menus in a new fine dining and lounge concept on the ground floor of Grosvenor House in George Street, Corby.

Various drinks, including some of their most popular cocktails, will be available to diners.

Serving food from 11am to 10pm, Olive will also offer a pre-order lunch service and special offers will be on offer for those planning a trip to the Savoy Cinema or the Cube Theatre.

Leader of Corby Council, Cllr Tom Beattie, said: “The Old Bakehouse and Olive Lounge is a place that has become extremely popular over the past couple of years, and I know that a lot of Corby people choose it as their place to go for quality meals and drinks, so it will certainly be a very welcome addition to the town once it is on our doorstep.

“With more and more restaurants coming to life and getting ready to open their doors, people from in and around the borough will certainly be spoiled for choice when they eat out in Corby.”
