Weavers School in Wellingborough is celebrating its record A-Level results, with a third of all entries at the top A*-B grades.
Deputy head Abigail Boddy said: “The results are the best ever achieved in the school’s history. I would like to congratulate our students and their parents on their outstanding results which will enable them to proceed to university or their chosen career.”
Among the successful students were Kris Ardle who achieved an A* in maths and three Bs in further maths and the sciences; Puja Mulgi who achieved an A and three Bs and will study maths at Queen Mary’s College, London, and Secundus Karuga who will take computer sciences at Hull University. Other student successes include Emily Hoon who was awarded the prestigious Horne Bursary and will study education.
