Sir Christopher Hatton Academy students achieved a 99 per cent pass rate for their A-Levels this year.
A school spokesman said students have this year attained an ‘excellent’ set of results, adding: “The majority have planned to go on to further or higher education and these results will allow them to do this.”
Top performances this year include Stewart O’Bee with an A* A A in business studies, economics and geography, Christina Proctor with A A A in maths, further maths and physics, Charlie Buckles-Price who achieved an A in maths, A in economics and B in history, and Naomi Wainright with and A in economics, A in geography and B in English literature.
Many others have combinations that were very close to these top results with 44 per cent of all entries graded at B or above.
The spokesman added: “These successes are down to the hard work and dedication of the staff, students and parents at Sir Christopher Hatton. We would like to congratulate them and wish all our leavers the very best of luck in their future endeavours.”
