An outgoing headteacher is signing off with pride after seeing her students end the year with A-level success.
Pupils at Prince William School in Oundle picked up some great results today, including Thomas Baxter and Emily Cale from Oundle, and Jonathon Townson from Titchmarsh who both achieved three A* grades.
All three will be continuing their studies, with Thomas reading Asian and Middle Eastern studies at Pembroke College Cambridge, while Emily will be pursuing medicine with the Army.
Jonathon will be one of many students continuing the school’s strong science pedigree by studying biology at Durham
Annie Holland from Woodnewton, Matthew King from Thrapston and Johnnie Gysin from Fotheringhay also achieved excellent results, achieving four A* and A grade A-levels.
Outgoing headteacher Marian Hobbs said: “I am delighted that all of the hard work that both the students and the teaching staff here at Prince William has paid off.
“The fact that the vast majority of students leaving us have gone to the universities, employment and apprenticeships of their choice is testament to the positive direction that the school continues to move in.”
