A 92-year-old woman who was airlifted to hospital after an accident on the A5199 near Creaton on Thursday, November 28, has died.

The victim has been formally identified as Pauline Hart, of Well Lane, Guilsborough.

The smash is thought to have happened at about 12.30pm and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance arrived at the scene at about 12.45pm.

Officers closed the carriageway between Hollowell Road in Creaton and Brixworth Road in Spratton.

Mrs Hart was the front seat passenger in a grey Volkswagen Polo which was in collision with three vehicles.

She was taken to University Hospital Coventry where she died at 3am on Saturday (30 November).
